Unionization creates an adversarial relationship between faculty and administration, and among faculty

Unionization is inherently adversarial. Unionized universities, in comparison to non-unionized universities, tend to have more adversarial relationships between the faculty and the administration, as well as more strained inter-faculty relationships.
